 SPIRITUAL SPRING CLEANING

I love the energy of every season.
But I especially adore SPRING. With longer and warmer days, there seems to be a "spring" in every step I take.

Mother Nature is busy gifting us with visuals on what we can "attend to" energetically. The melting snows and April showers cleanse the air, brings nutrients to flowers, plants and trees as they begin their stretching, upward and outward movements from winter's deep sleep. We too begin to awaken from winter's darkness and introspection as we open our windows and allow fresh air into our homes and lungs. Having more light and being outdoors, hearing the chirping birds as they're busily building their nests. Smelling the perfumed air and seeing the burst of colors as flowers bloom and trees blossom. What a perfect time for us to connect with the renewal of our own life; as we spring clean our homes why not also cleanse the body?

Today I'm introducing you to Aztec Clay and how we can cleanse our largest breathing organ... our skin. Aztec Clay has 50 natural minerals that draw out impurities and toxins from the body. Below are instructions to make a facial mask. It's really fun to do with your friends and partners. You'll see an immediate effect... your skin will be radiant and you'll look younger and refreshed.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Aztec Clay
1 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
Washed hands
Optional: Soft make-up brush
  1. In palm of hand use your finger to make a smooth mixture; first adding the vinegar then clay. (You can add either more clay or vinegar)
  2. Apply to face and neck with fingers or brush. (It's important to leave spaces around the eyes and lips.)
  3. Wash hands and continue with your day (best to be indoors since you'll look like a Martian).
  4. After 10-20 minutes gently wash with warm water then splash face with cold water and pat skin dry. *
(* Discontinue if rash appears and only use externally)

"Remember to smile as you greet the world with your radiant face. Spring is a wonderful time to nurture your seeds of gratitude and appreciation for Mother Nature's gifts. After all... we are her children." MOM

A REMINDER...

INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE VISITING EARTH

By James McRae

In the event that you wake up

and find your soul separated from source

and manifest into material form,

don’t panic.

Your condition is only temporary.

You have been selected for the

opportunity of human incarnation.

This 3D simulation is designed

to break up the monotony of eternity

by giving you a fully immersive

experience as a distinct ego identity.

Your body will serve

as your physical avatar as you

navigate a dense and dramatic reality.

There will be many distractions

causing you to forget your true nature

and origin. You will experience

a range of emotions, from joy

to loneliness to despair.

But remember – no matter

what trials and traumas you encounter,

your soul remains perfectly safe.

At times you may feel lost or afraid.

This is totally normal.

If you ever need guidance,

simply slow down your busy mind

and bring your awareness

to the quiet place

inside yourself.

On this planet, nothing is permanent.

People and things will come and go.

You will fall in love and form sentimental attachments

only to lose everything you hold dear.

So cling to nothing too tightly, even yourself,

and when it’s time to let go, let go with grace,

for nothing is owned, only borrowed.

As you walk among

the people on the planet,

try to be a good guest.

Tread lightly. Remember

that you are only visiting.

Don’t make a mess.

Listen more than you speak.

Give more than you take.

Don’t keep your soft heart

locked inside a glass cage,

protected from wear and tear.

You’ll never make it out alive

and time passes quickly.

So come back with some battle scars

and good stories to tell.

MOM demonstrating the Square Form of Wu Style Tai Chi

https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7422533493173305344/

The stillness in each tai chi step creates a profound inner stillness... of cells healing.

Mom's thoughts on Tai Chi Benefits

In Wu Form we move in a smaller circular radius, thus building up our internal, “chi” energy. And like my teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Chow, I first teach my students the square form... the foundation of how to move the "chi" energy throughout the body.

Tai Chi isn’t an “easy fix,” it’s an eastern, inner journey to understanding the following:
  1. Learning a new, movement map that engages the brain becoming mindful of the steps being taught.
  2. Building strength on both sides of the body as we often favor one side moving throughout our lives.
  3. Creating “soft form” as we release muscle tension.
  4. Bringing arms into supported, skeletal, postures that never strain the shoulders nor neck.
  5. Releasing inner-stagnation that’s often held in our bodies and gently opening the fountain-of-chi energy as it trickles, softly through the organs, muscles, ligaments, and bones.
  6. Elevating those smiling T-cells that love to boost the immune system.
  7. The para-sympathetic nervous system is invited to relax the body and calm the mind.
  8. Journeying…  as a group into moving meditation aka" Tai Chi Land."
  9. It keeps you in the Springtime of Life walking one with balance and grace… physically, emotionally and spiritually.
  10. Tai Chi takes patience, time and commitment however, in the end it doesn't matter since we also learn how to warp time and space in a most delightful way. Visit my wellness blog at: momscosmicdiner.blogspot.com
