I sat by a waterfall and watched the water as it flowed down the rocky crevice. I closed my eyes and listened to the water's tumbling and splashing sounds into the pool beneath. I felt the mist as it caressed my skin and gently coaxed me to be more aware of its presence. I realized the waterfall is a metaphor for the movement of our life force.
Whenever you feel "stuck" visualize yourself as a waterfall. What is damming the water's flow? By removing even the smallest pebble the water can find its way downstream and back to its journey. What pebbles are stopping you from achieving your goals? How can you remove them?
Inner reflection is like peering into a pool of still water and seeing your true-self. By spending a few minutes every day sitting, breathing deeply, listening to the breath and allowing the thoughts to drift away, you'll begin to see the blocks in your life, answers to your questions, and feel your spiritual empowerment.
